Over many years Capmark have developed a considerable number of unique materials and processes in response to customer requirements. Below are just some of the main products and processes offered by Capmark.

Cast Mechanical Components

Where quantities are too small for injection moulding or other mass production processes castings can provide a viable and cost effective alternative to traditional machining methods.

Rapid Prototyping

Capmark have developed their own materials and processes to provide Rapid Prototype models of exceedingly high standard. Wall thickness down to 0.3 mm can be accommodated and tolerances in the order of 0.1 in 100 mm can be achieved.

Compression / Transfer Moulding

Capmark has the facility for compression or transfer moulding in a variety of materials.
Primarily compression moulding is carried out using Polyester D.M.C. which can be used to mould both large and small components and can accommodate abrupt changes of section. D.M.C. is a blended material comprising resin, glass fibre and a variety of fillers. The formulation of the mix is adjusted to give the finished moulding the desired properties.
Transfer moulding is another thermosetting resin manufacturing technique similar to compression moulding. Here the heated resin is injected into the closed metal mould under high pressure. Depending upon application a variety of resin systems can be used, commonly epoxy or phenolic.
